ST. IGNACE – The Blue Devils brought all the energy Friday night as they took a 45-20 win over the Saints. St. Ignace will stay at home to play host to Newberry on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. and Sault Ste Marie will play Brighton in the Cadillac Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 4 p.m.

GAYLORD – Gaylord won a tight contest from visiting St. Ignace on Monday night, handing the Saints their first loss of the season, 67-65. The win in the Blue Devils third victory in their last four games. Gaylord (4-3) hosts league foe Traverse City Central on Friday night, while St. Ignace (6-1) travels to Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday evening.

CEDARVILLE – The St. Ignace Saints and Mackinaw City Comets both earned sweeps in their district semifinal games on Tuesday night. The Saints swept Pickford and Mackinaw City swept the hosting Cedarville-DeTour Islanders to advance. St. Ignace and Mackinaw City will square off in the district championship game on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Cedarville.
