RUDYARD – The Rudyard boys basketball team refused to take their foot off the gas in a 64-21 win over Engadine. This win puts the Bulldogs at 1-1 on the season and the Eagles at 0-3. Rudyard plays Newberry at home on Dec. 17 at 12:30 p.m. and Engadine plays at home against Manistique on Jan. 2 at 7 p.m.

PELLSTON – The Inland Lakes Bulldogs knocked off Rudyard to claim a regional title on Thursday night. Inland Lakes took the match 25-23, 25-20 & 25-14. A semifinalist a year ago, Inland Lakes will now face Crystal Falls Forest Park in a Division 4 quarterfinal at Marquette High School at 6:00 on Tuesday.

RUDYARD – The Rudyard Bulldogs won three straight sets (25-12, 25-9, 25-14) over Engadine for the district title. The Bulldogs started strong with kills from Klaire Kwiatkowski and Eve Cheney and an ace from Meagan Postma. Rudyard will play Rock Mid Peninsula on Tuesday, Nov. 8 in the regional semifinals.
