Bill returned to Northern Michigan’s News Leader in October 2018. He’s no stranger to the area. He’s a familiar face to viewers – Bill first began working in the region in 2002, working in television news as an anchor and reporter, then spending several years in news radio.
Bill first joined 9&10 in 2010, and has been reporting with the news team off-and-on ever since. After a year out west to be closer to family, he knew returning to the area was inevitable.
Bill’s reporting has earned him several awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, as well as an Edward R. Murrow Award.
Over the years, Bill has been involved with the March of Dimes, Special Olympics, and volunteered as a Little League coach – just to name a few. He lives in Traverse City with his two kids.
