Soo Locks Boat Tours Opens Up for New Season

The Soo Locks boat tours started their season this weekend, with plenty of things to see.

The boat tours in Sault Ste Marie have been around for decades with people from all across the world riding on them.

Recently, the boat tours divided into two companies.

The Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours in the yellow boats, and the Original Soo Locks Boat Tours in the white boats.

Restrooms and a snack bar are available on all boats.

No matter which tour you go on, you can’t go wrong.

“Soo Locks Boat Tours are exciting because not only is it a chance to see the commerce at work, but also learn about very specific and unique facts about our area and what makes it so awesome,” said Scott Labonte of Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours.

On the tour, you will go through the locks and see the construction of the new super lock.
