A 23-year-old man died in a snowboarding accident at Caberfae Peaks over the weekend.
The accident happened on Saturday around 11 a.m.
Caberfae Peaks General Manager Pete Meyer spoke out about the accident.
“A snowboarder apparently lost control and skied into some trees off of the side of a groomed ski trail,” said Meyer. “Unfortunately, his injuries were severe, and he did not survive. The entire Caberfae Peaks family thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased.”
Meyer says the accident happened on lower lifeline, which is a black diamond run.
