Emmet County Health Department Board Members Resign

Members of the Emmet County Health Department Board are resigning following the ongoing dispute over the Health Department of Northwest Michigan’s universal mask mandates in schools.

Dave Bachelor and David White both left their positions on the Emmet County Health Department Board.

This comes as health officer Lisa Peacock , saying they’ve bullied and intimidated her into rescinding the mask mandate.

Emmet County commissioners will look to fill the two vacant spots in the future.
