Love In the Name of Christ, also known as Love INC, is kicking off their annual fundraiser on Friday. The non-profit is hoping to raise $25,000 in 25 days to help those in need.
The organization is taking donations starting Aug. 2 through Aug. 27.
Each year, Love INC receives nearly 2,000 calls per year from community members looking for help. The organization helps with job challenges, family displacement concerns, health issues, and more.
Executive Director for Love INC, Carol Dolan, they value each and every call they get. She said they feel it’s an honor and privilege to be a part of people’s story.
“The community has been a great support. We couldn’t do it without all the help that’s available. We have over fifty churches that come alongside us, we have many businesses, many individuals that, you know, contribute helping us.”
