Buchan’s Blueberry Hill Looking to Fill Final Seasonal Positions

Buchan’s Blueberry Hill in Grand Traverse County is looking to fill their final seasonal positions before the start of the harvest.

The harvest typically begins near the end of July or beginning of August.

The farm says they just filled their final spots to help harvest blueberries.

But they’re still looking for people to work the front counter when crowds start arriving for the u-pick season.

“When you’re open with blueberries, when we get really busy with blueberries, they scoop ice cream, they run the cash register, they weight the berries, they send buckets out so you kind of have to do everything and it’s nice to have enough people to staff every location or every position,” said owner Benjamin Buchan.
