Northwestern Michigan College Trustees set tuition for the next school year, and while tuition is going up, the college in Traverse City says most students will actually pay less.
Tuition will go up by $3 per hour for in-district students, and $7 per hour for in-state students.
But, NMC is also eliminating an online learning fee. They say the price of online courses will drop by $20 per hour.
NMC says they have the sixth lowest in-district tuition of Michigan’s 28 community colleges.
