The fight against cancer hasn’t stopped — and even the pandemic can’t stop the Relay For Life this year.

Relay for Life is a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society held all over the world. The one in Midland County has a special group of people raising money towards a cure, they are called ‘Lifesavers.’ This special team is made up of firefighters, EMS personnel and spouses, and medical first responders.

The Lifesavers team will be selling teddy bears made from repurposed turnout gear like jackets, pink repurposed fireman’s helmets, and t-shirts. Every penny earned will be donated to The American Cancer Society to find a cure.

Please come out and support the cause on Saturday June 19th in Midland.
