The Ironman Traverse City 70.3 is just over two weeks away! It’s crunch time for people preparing for the upcoming competition. The Father Fred Foundation is one of five organizations participating in Traverse City Tourism’s Charity Challenge.
Elaine Keaton, the Advancement Manager for the Father Fred Foundation says, “We provide food, financial assistance and clothing to our neighbors in need.”
Competing on behalf of the Father Fred Foundation is Julie Jenkins who has been competing in triathlons for years. “To do this on the big scale, in my hometown– like three blocks from my house is so cool! I just couldn’t pass it up,” says Jenkins.
