A Saginaw man accused of strangling his fiancé’s 10-month-old baby will go to trial.
Saginaw County investigators say Ciana McCliggott was killed back in March of last year.
Court records show Michael Lask withdrew his plea to second-degree murder, due to mental illness.
Lask was originally charged with open murder.
The man was living at the motel with his fiancé and several other children.
Lask has said he strangled the girl until she stopped crying.
