AAA says it expects more than 1.5 million Michiganders will travel home this Thanksgiving.
AAA says this year will see the most travelers since 2007, and that the travel increase comes from improvements in the economy.
With gas prices lower than a year ago, more than 90% of travelers will drive.
AAA says 2016 is expected to be the 7th consecutive year of growth for Thanksgiving travel in Michigan.
