A high school band wrapped up their final practice, now ready for their performance, all to recognize veterans.
The Pine River School Jazz Band will host a Veterans Day dinner and dance.
It starts at five at Boomers Rendezvous in Tustin.
The restaurant will be decorated like older USO dances, and the band will play big band swing music.
Veterans, senior citizens, and community members are all invited to attend.
The event, which also has a half price dinner, is more than a year in the making, all to honor veterans.
"This really is a huge team effort the kids and students have been working hard all fall preparing the music we’ve been working since last summer so to see it all come together is very exciting," said Jessica Gardner.
Tickets for veterans, active military and seniors are 10 dollars each or 15 per couple.
Regular priced tickets are 15 dollars each and 25 per couple.
All the proceeds go towards the band’s spring trip to Disney World.
