A special event in Cadillac this weekend will be all about mom.
Saturday is the first Mother’s Day Expo at the Cadillac Junior High School.
Around 60 local vendors and home-based businesses run by mothers will be at the event.
There will be gift basket giveaways and a special opportunity for children.
“We have Cuts for Kids coming. Jenny Trotton will be there giving free haircuts to children,” says the expo’s organizer, Jenny Hoaglund. “And so that’s kind of one of the big highlights. Kids can get their hair cut while mom kind of wonders around and checks everything out.”
The expo is Saturday at Cadillac Junior High School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
