An Illinois man on his way to court Monday morning found himself in more trouble.
The 55-year-old from Lake Beach was on his way to the Grand Traverse County courthouse was pulled over in the jail parking lot.
The Traverse City police officer noticed signs of intoxication.
It turns out the driver had a blood alcohol content of .23.
The officer arrested him for drunk driving, and took him inside the jail.
