Saturday, Mancelona Veterinary Hospital will give discounted Rabies, Distemper, Leptospirosis and Leukemia vaccines to cats and dogs.
The clinic comes just before the March 1st deadline for pet owner licensing renewals.
Antrim County Licensing Department will be there to help out with that.
The hospital stresses the importance of getting your pets vaccinated.
Ashley Ayoub, Mancelona Veterinary Hospital Practice Manager, says, “Different diseases that our animals can transmit to one another, in some instances with Leptospirosis, to humans. It can be transferred both ways so it’s really important that we not only protect our animals, but also protect ourselves as well.”
The clinic starts Saturday morning at 10 and runs until noon.
