The SS Badger is officially being named as a National Historic Landmark.
The SS Badger is the very last coal-fired steam ship on the Great Lakes.
Operating since 1952, the ferry can carry 600 people and 180 vehicles across Lake Michigan, between Ludington and Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
