Northern Michigan Events Friday: Apple Fest, Haunted Barn, Benefit Dinner

It’s Events Friday on Michigan This Morning.

Today we have three events if you’re still trying to make weekend plans.

is going on in downtown Charlevoix.

Today through Sunday, East Park will be turned in to a festive place to visit.

Dozens of Northern Michigan orchards will participate by bringing apples, cider and other baked goods.

There are also other fun activities for the kids like face painting, pony rides and a petting zoo.

Next a is going on in Sault Ste. Marie.

It’s at the Stalwart Fairgrounds.

The haunted barn is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under.

All the proceeds go to the United Way.

It kicks off Friday night and ends Saturday.

Finally there’s a benefit spaghetti dinner in Traverse City.

All the proceeds will go to helping Zane Barnes as he battles a rare cancer.

The dinner is on Sunday from 12 to 4 at the VFW Hall on Veterans Drive in Traverse City.
