You Saw It: General Motors Recalling Chevrolet Cruze

General Motors is recalling its Chevrolet Cruze compact cars because of reports of engine fires.

GM says the fires happen when fluids drip onto a plastic shield below the engine and ignite.

There have been about 30 fires reported to GM so far, no injuries have been reported.

They say most of the fires were caused by spills during an oil change that weren't cleaned properly.

The recall covers Cruzes built from September 2010 through May 2012.
