Charges pending large wildfire that erupted in Crawford County nearly 2 years ago. The Four Mile Road fire burned more than 1,300 acres near Grayling in May of 2008. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment says the Attorney General's Office is closer to filing charges in the fire. But they can't say yet who they plan to charge. The Attorney General hopes to file charges within the next month or two.
