Lee Ellen Kerr is the VP of the Antrim County High Tea for Breast Cancer Prevention.
When the nonprofit was created in 2004, Antrim County had the highest breast cancer mortality rate in the state of Michigan. As of 2020, Antrim County now falls in the bottom third of state-wide counties for mortality rate and breast cancer diagnosis’s. Prevention is critical to improving diagnosis outcomes.
