Cadillac Firefighters Starting New Tradition to Spread Awareness for Breast Cancer

Cadillac Firefighters are raising awareness for breast cancer in October, and want you to help their fundraiser.

They’re selling t-shirts, and will be wearing them through the month of October.

The proceeds of the shirt sales go to the breast cancer fund at Cadillac Munson.

They say it was hard to do community outreach the last two years due to the pandemic, so they’re excited to get back to fundraising and start a new tradition.

“Breast cancer is pretty personal to most people, especially some of us here at the fire station,” said Cadillac Firefighter/EMT Dale Hall. “We wanted a way to do something that’s typical for fire departments to wear, and as a bonus its a fundraiser for a local charity.

More information on how to order a shirt will be released on the next week.
