The village of Thompsonville in Benzie County is currently under a boil water advisory.
They say bacterial contamination is possible after a loss of water pressure in the system on Sunday.
Everyone in Thompsonville should boil their water for at least one minute before using to drink, cook or wash dishes with.
The village says they are working to get pressure restored and test for bacteria.
