Seniors in northwest Michigan were celebrated today at Senior Appreciation Day in Cadillac.
This is the first year back in person after a few years off due to Covid.
The event is put together by SNAG, or Seniors Networking Advancing Group.
Seniors were able to learn about everything from smart phones to the latest in elder law.
They were also treated to a free lunch and fun activities like a fashion show.
“Things change, healthcare directives changes, the laws change,” said Cindy McGarry of BrightStar Care of Northern Michigan. “It keeps them up to date on the newest things as well as the newest technologies to assist them to stay in their home.
The event happens every year in July or August.
