4 Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Roscommon Township

The Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Roscommon Township.

Around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, July 10, deputies from the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office met with two subjects who had discovered several deceased subjects inside of a residence. Upon investigation, deputies found four people deceased inside the home.

Deputies say the victims, Tirany Lee Savage, a 35-year-old woman from Houghton Lake, Dayton Cowdrey, Tirany Savage’s 13-year-old son, Kim Lynette Ebright, Tirany Savage’s 58-year-old mother, and Bo Eugene Savage, 35, were all found deceased with apparent gun shot wounds.

According to public records, Tirany Savage had requested a personal protection order against her husband, Bo Savage, on June 24. A judge denied that PPO request on June 27. Tirany Savage later filed for divorce three days prior to her murder.

Investigators have found no indication of any other suspects involved in the incident and say no further danger to the community exists.

The investigation remains open.
