Michigan health officials are reporting 5,931 coronavirus cases and 312 deaths since Friday, Feb. 18.
According to the MDHHS, between Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the average number of new cases per day is approximately 1,186.
Additionally, they say 250 of the 312 deaths reported Wednesday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 2,051,771 confirmed coronavirus cases and 31,695 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Tuesday, 5,612,042 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As of Feb. 19, 6,576,803 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
On Tuesday, reported that 183 adults were admitted to Michigan hospitals.
They say 65% were reported to be unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, while 35% were reported to be fully vaccinated.
As of Tuesday, 1,516 adult patients and 47 pediatric patients are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Of those 1,516 adult patients, 296 are occupying ICU beds with the coronavirus. Of those 296 patients, 159 are currently on ventilators with COVID-19.
