Michigan health officials are reporting 3,827 new coronavirus cases and 112 deaths since Wednesday.
According to the MDHHS, between Thursday and Friday, the average number of new cases per day is 1,914.
Additionally, they note that 61 of the 112 deaths reported Friday were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 2,045,840 total confirmed covid cases, and 31,383 total confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of Friday, 5,603,133 Michiganders ages five and older have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As of Monday, 6,562,232 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
It is important to note that the MDHHS will not be updating coronavirus data Monday, Feb. 21 due to the holiday.
