Venture North, Cadillac Area Community Foundation Team Up To Help Small Businesses
Small businesses in Wexford and Missaukee Counties can apply for coronavirus relief funding.
Venture North and the Cadillac Area Community Foundation are teaming up to help local businesses struggling from the pandemic.
About $50,000 will be shared amongst small businesses with nine or less full time employees through the regional resiliency program administered by Venture North.
The Cadillac Area Community Foundation says this will help immediate needs.
“It could be two months rent, it could be three months rent. It could pay the utility bills for a couple months,” said Doreen Lance, Executive Director of the Cadillac Area Community Foundation. “We need to have a vibrant downtown to bring employees here to bring new businesses here. So we need those small businesses.”
Venture North will also continue to assist those awarded the grant to further help them succeed.
