A Charlevoix man was convicted Friday of possessing child pornography and using a computer to commit a crime.

Gaugi Holm pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced 36 to 84 months for using a computer to commit a crime and 24 to 48 months for possessing child pornography.

Michigan State Police had followed up on a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and located the material on Holm’s Google Drive.

Holm was first placed on the registered sex offenders list in 1991 on two charges of criminal sexual conduct with a 13-year-old. He was sentenced to eight to 40 years in prison in 1992.
