A west Michigan artist is raffling off an original oil painting to help raise money for an assisted living and hospice home in Detour Village.
Nick Martinez painted this beautiful scene called “A Day on Maxton Bay.”
It’s a calm summer day with a cloud in the shape of Drummond Island.
All proceeds will go toward the new Harbor View Assisted Living and Hospice Home in Detour Village.
Martinez says the painting was inspired by a photo he took while fishing with his uncle.
There are 200 raffle tickets available for 100 dollars each.
The raffle will be held on Jan. 18 at the Giving Matters Gala
This is a free event held at Northwoods Restaurant on Drummond Island.
