From biking to strolling, playing and picnicking, the Detroit Riverfront is becoming a destination for all ages.

We’re getting a look at the transformation of the motor city’s most celebrated real estate.

For many years, Detroit’s Riverfront was unused, unloved and in some places, an eyesore.

But that has all changed, is transforming these spaces into usable parks, pathways and gardens.

Michelle got a look at one of the newer attractions this week, the Riverfront Conservancy.

And while much of what the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy focuses on is the land near the water, the group is also helping Detroit become friendlier to bikers, walkers and visitors and locals.

Michelle showed us another must see destination in the motor city, the Dequindre Cut Greenway.
