Grant Me Hope: Joslyn

Joslyn is a lively and smart young girl who has many different interests.

She loves to draw and play outside, and would love some siblings to have fun with.

She has many aspirations in life, including finding a forever family to adopt her.

Joslyn is 14 years old and likes math, running and Michigan winters.

“I like to play in the snow and also I like to play on the ice in our front yard. I like the winter because you can make snow angels, snowmen, you can go sledding,” said Joslyn.

Joslyn loves living in Michigan.

“I would like to stay in Michigan, because it is more prettier than most of the other states. It’s kind of cool to go swimming in a lot of different areas and see a lot of different kinds of birds,” explained Joslyn.

Joslyn has her eye on a number of careers she’d like to explore when she grows up.

“What I want to be when I grow up is a tattoo artist, a veterinarian, a teacher and a therapist. I’d like to be a tattoo artist because I can draw, color and I am really unique at drawing,” said Joslyn.

Joslyn is hoping to find a forever family to adopt her.

“I would like to live in the country with my family, because I like horses, cats, and dogs. Mostly I want to live on a farm and have animals,” explained Joslyn. “Basically I want the family that cares about me, loves me no matter what I do. I want to have a little niece or baby sister, baby brother or sister, older brother, pets, mom and dad, uncle, aunt, grandpa. It definitely doesn’t matter what is in my family, but I would love them no matter what.”

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
