An Otsego County judge will decide if there’s enough evidence to send a man to trial Thursday morning.
De’Marco McCovery is charged with first-degree child abuse following the death of a 1-year-old girl in Gaylord last month.
Police say McCovery was dating the child’s mother.
He’s in jail on a $500,000 bond and is facing life in prison if convicted.
