Traverse City Business To Donate All Earth Day Sales To Leelanau Conservancy

A Northern Michigan business has decided to go all out this Earth Day.

M22 in Traverse City will be donating one hundred percent of its Earth Day sales to the Leelanau Conservancy.

In the past, the store has donated a total of nearly $50,000 to the group.

Store executives say the giving spirit was inspired by their love of nature and the local landscape.

“You buy a t-shirt for $25, we are donating $25 to the conservancy,” says M22 co-founder, Matt Meyers. “100 percent of gross sales. It’s sort of unheard of, but it’s our way of saying we’re for real and we’re all in on this.”
