A Big Rapids man is in jail after first responders saved his life.
The Big Rapids Police Department says Saturday night around 11:00 p.m. an officer found a 21 year old man slumped over in his driver’s seat of his car, with the driver’s door open in a restaurant parking lot.
EMS administered Narcan when they got to the scene.
Once the man gained consciousness he admitted to using heroin.
Officers also tracked damage on the road from the rim of the man’s vehicle to North State Street and West Avenue, where a utility pole had been hit.
There is also extensive damage to the man’s vehicle.
