Traverse City Restaurants Stay Busy For Labor Day

Restaurants are excited for the extra business the Labor Day weekend brings in.

Pangea’s Pizza in downtown Traverse City is ready.

They have hundreds of pizza boxes folded and ready to go for takeout orders.

Also their entire staff will be in throughout the weekend to help customers.

The money they make this weekend will also help them for the next couple months when business slows down.

"What we are expecting the next four days definitely helps us going forward starting the Tuesday after Labor Day until around Christmas time to help build us money so we can get through the slower times," said Kyle Belton.

Pangea’s general manager says he thinks this weekend will be busier than last year because they’ve had more people coming through their doors all summer.
