5. In a DIV. 4 baseball regional semifinal on Wednesday, East Jordan has a runner at second base. The bunt attempt is missed, and Gaylord St. Mary’s catcher Brett Koscielniak fires down to third base, where Brody Jeffers makes a sliding catch, and reaches back to tag out the runner. East Jordan would go on to win the game, 9-6.

4. In a DIV. 2 baseball regional semifinal, Petoskey’s Trevor Swiss gives his team a commanding lead by driving the ball into the power alley in left center. Two runners (Tyler Goeldel and Lucas O’Donnell) would come in to score on the triple by Swiss. Petoskey topped Sault Ste. Marie, 9-1.

3. Rudyard and Johannesburg-Lewiston softball in the DIV. 4 regional final. On an attempt to Pick off Jayden Marlatt, she makes it home. The Cardinals won big 10-4.

2. - In the DIV. 3 regional semifinal on Tuesday, Elk Rapids’ Lauren Bingham picks up the ball at midfield, then gets into stride, using her speed to race right through the Newaygo back line and putting the shot into the net for what would end up being the game-winning goal in a 5-0 Elk Rapids victory.

1. With less than 10 minutes to play in a 1-1 regional final game on Thursday, Lauren Bingham starts the play with a throw-in. The ball bounces to Kendall Standfest, who makes a nice subtle move to get onto her right foot, and she plays a long pass downfield to Bingham who scores the game-winning goal inside the near post. Elk Rapids wins the Regional Title, 2-1.
