ITHACA – The Flying G’s took the major win over the defending Div. 5 champions Grand Rapid Catholic Central for the program’s first semifinal victory. Gladwin’s Nick Wheeler sealed the 28-21 victory with an interception as the clock ticked down.
The Flying G’s will continue their unbeaten season as they head to Ford Field on Saturday for the first time. They will be taking on an unbeaten Frankenmuth.
