It was a close call on Friday after the Great Lakes Tissue Company in Cheboygan experienced a small fire.
The Cheboygan Fire Department responded to the call at 9:30 a.m. when a package of paper material caught fire, filling the building with smoke.
They were assisted by four other fire departments, and they were able to contain the flames. No structure damage or injuries were reported.
The Cheboygan Fire Department tours the facility every year to make sure everything is up to code.
