AMC Theatres Likely to File for Bankruptcy Due to Coronavirus Crisis

The coronavirus is hitting many businesses hard across the U.S., and that includes the world’s largest theater chain.

AMC Theatres says they may be forced to file for bankruptcy because of the outbreak.

They’ve been closed since March 16 and projections show the earliest the chain could reopen would be August.

The theater chain has already told landlords across the country it will stop paying rent in April.
