This 12-year-old is more than just smart, he is determined! Johnathan is this week’s Grant Me Hope and he is all about sports, culinary, and learning.

He dabbles in a little of everything and you are sure to be entertained with this one.

Johnathan said, “I’m really good at math and am at about an 11th or 12th-grade math level. When I grow up, I want to be an engineer or a mathematician. I want to be someone who helps out the community.”

He loves to help people and wants to someday build houses for the homeless.

Johnathan is ready for his forever family, but adoption is more than just somewhere to call home.

He said, “The word adoption means to me? That people would actually take me into their houses and treat me like I’m part of their family instead of an outcast. That they are also caring and kind. The word family to me means not quite perfect, but still in a good way.”
