Grant Me Hope: Madison

Nearly 600 thousand American children spend time in the foster system every year, and all of these children need someone to commit to loving and caring for them.

Madison is one of them. A soft spoken seventh grader, who simply wants to be part of a forever family.

She loves to dance with her friends and make fake slime.

But if there is one thing this girl loves, it is unicorns. She has her very own pair of unicorn slippers and a unicorn doll.

“My first wish would be to see a real unicorn,” says Madison

But she also would love to be in a family, and maybe even be someone’s big sister

“The qualities that make me a good big sister is that I like playing with them and I would spend a bunch of time with them so they don’t feel left out and I would do a bunch of activities with them,” she says.

Madison truly just wants a family that will love her and give her the attentions he needs.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
