ROGERS CITY – The Newberry Indians opened up the postseason in impressive fashion, routing previously unbeaten Rogers City 54-6 on Friday night.
The Indians (9-1) jumped out to a 20-0 lead early, and never looked back in notching their ninth win of the season.
The Hurons finish their season with a 9-1 overall record.
Newberry now advances to face Munising in a Regional Final next week. The Mustangs handed Newberry their only loss of the season, a 14-0 setback, back in week two of the regular season.
