Farwell — This is the first full-season as an 8-man team for the Farwell football team.
The Eagles went 1-7 last season, with their last winning season being in 2010. By switching to an 8-man team, the players and coaches believe that they are at a more equal and competitive playing level within their conference.
“It’s a very similar game but there’s a lot of things that are different,” said Farwell head coach Travis Waddell. “Getting used to it last year was definitely an experience, but something that the kids [and our coaching staff] really enjoyed.”
The first game of the season for the Eagles is against Wyoming Lee.
