BIG RAPIDS — There’s now a tie at the top of the CSAA-Gold, as Fremont defeated Big Rapids in a close 57-54 boys basketball game on Friday.
The Cardinals fall to 6-1 in conference play, while the Packers improve to 7-1 against CSAA-Gold opponents. Reed City also had just one conference loss following its win over Grant on Friday.
Big Rapids will next host Newaygo next Friday. Fremont will be at home on Tuesday against Muskegon Orchard View.
