Pellston’s Daily Becomes First Athlete to Commit to NCMC

PELLSTON — Last month, North Central Michigan College announced , and on Thursday, an athlete from northern Michigan became the first to sign with an NCMC program.

Pellston’s Jordyn Daily will continue playing volleyball for the Timberwolves next year under head coach and NCMC athletic director Ashley Antonishen. Daily said she had wanted to play college volleyball and loved several aspects of NCMC.

“I’m excited to stay home close to family and friends, and it’s a new program, so I’m excited to be a part of the building process of it all,” Daily said. “The A.D. there, Ashley, who is also my volleyball coach, is pretty nice and easy to talk to.”

Daily also said she was thrilled to be a part of history for NCMC as its first commit. She played volleyball for four years at Pellston.
