Manistee Duo Commits to Olivet College

Manistee seniors Eric Smith and Landen Powers committed to Olivet College and its football program Wednesday.

Smith, a wide receiver and cornerback, and Powers, a running back and middle linebacker, led Manistee to a 5-3 campaign in 2020 and the school’s first-ever playoff victory with a win over Kalkaska.

The two join an Olivet program that went 8-2 in 2019 and finished .500 or better every season since 2013.
