COOPERSVILLE – The Mt. Pleasant girls soccer team saw its season come to an end Tuesday, falling 2-1 in overtime to Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern in a Division 2 regional semifinal.
Hannah Kahn opened the scoring for the Oilers (16-5-1) 23 seconds in after the start of the opening half.
Midway through the second half, Forest Hills Northern’s Sophia Terzes tied the game at 1-1 on a free kick.
Then in overtime, Carlye Fatum found the back of the net for the game-winner.
