Katelyn Davis

Katelyn joined 9&10 news in June of 2023 as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor/Producer. She recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with honors and earned a Bachelors in Mass Communications – TV, Radio, Film as well as a certificate in East Central European Languages, Literatures, and Cultures with her emphasis being in Polish. Katelyn also has her Associates of Science focused in Meteorology and worked in her school’s weather office for a year. Katelyn’s interest in reporting begun in high school where she was the editor in chief for her school’s weekly newspaper. From there, she found a passion for journalism, storytelling, and broadcasting. While at UW-Madison, Katelyn spent almost two years volunteering and then interning at WORT Radio where she wrote and produced the weather each week. Katelyn also interned at National award-winning TV station, “News 3 Now!” where she was a News and Sports reporter and additionally worked for ESPN during the BIG10 football season. During her free time, she also wrote for FanSided Orlando Magic Daily. When Katelyn is not in the field or at the anchor desk, you can find her trying out a new coffee shop, on the phone with her parents or sister, taking funny photos of her dogs, at the gym, playing basketball, snowboarding, exploring, or pretty much being anywhere outside! With that being said, she is very excited to explore all of the beauties of Northern Michigan!
